‘Glenview Newsletter’
Glenview State School publishes a Newsletter every 3 weeks that is published on our website and a link emailed to families every Third Wednesday. This publication keeps our parent community informed of our school and community happenings. Parents are encouraged to access their Newsletter by email to save paper and sustain the environment. If you have any articles for the Newsletter please send them to the school office by Friday 12 noon. Please email articles to admin@glenviewss.eq.edu.au
Change of Details
If you change your address, phone number or any other details, please use the QParents App to update your details or notify the school in writing so that the school’s records are always current. This is very important in relation to caring for your child in the event of child illness or injury.

Arriving late? Use the same options
All late arrivals must go to the office for a late slip upon arrival
Collecting early? Use the same options to notify us
All students must be signed out at the office to collect departure slip
Please note: it is essential to give a reason for your child’s absence as all unexplained absences will appear on your report card. If you must email your child’s teacher, please ensure that you have used one of the above options to ensure the office can record your child’s absence.
If an absence is to be longer than three days, please advise the class teacher. Where a planned absence from school is anticipated (holiday) for longer than 10 school days an "exemption form" will need to be completed. exemption-school-form.pdf (267KB)
