Parent and Community Volunteers

Parent and Community Volunteers are always welcome at Glenview State School.  Please ensure that you sign in via the Administration Office.  Volunteers are not only appreciated in your own child’s classroom but also in other areas of the school. We have a variety of opportunities for your child to see you involved in the place they learn!

Please contact the relevant class teacher or Administration Office if you would like to be involved.  All volunteers are required to read and sign a declaration of understanding of the role and responsibilities involved with spending time with students within a school community - MAST -Key Messages Guide - which has been prepared by the Education Department.  Volunteers who are not parents or carers are required to have a Blue Card - Working with Children check Queensland applied for through the Commission for children and young people.
