Enrolment Information – Glenview State School
Priority Access
Residents within the Glenview catchment area have priority access to enrol at Glenview State School. While the catchment area has potential for growth, the school’s capacity is limited. Consequently, Glenview operates an Enrolment Management Plan. Click here to visit the Education Queensland website for more information.

In-Catchment Enrolments
Applications for students living in-catchment can be submitted at any time by completing an enrolment form and submitting it to the Administration Office. Children must turn 5 years old by 30 June in the year they start Prep. Pre-enrolments and Prep orientation are held in October/November of the preceding year. A birth certificate must be sighted before school commencement.
Proof of Residency Requirements
Parents or legal guardians enrolling a child must demonstrate that the student’s principal place of residence is within the catchment area. Proof of residency can be provided as:
- One primary source – a current lease agreement, rates notice, or unconditional contract of sale
- One secondary source – a utility bill (e.g., electricity or gas) showing the same address and parent/legal guardian’s name
Out-of-Catchment Enrolments
If you live outside the Glenview catchment but are interested in enrolling your child, please download the Expression of Interest for Out-of-Catchment Enrolment Form and email it to admin@glenviewss.eq.edu.au. Your child will be placed on a waitlist, and you will be contacted when a suitable space becomes available.
