ASSESSMENT

  • Assessment is used both to measure and report on learning and to inform teaching and learning programs.
  • Assessment is both formative and summative and is based on student achievement.
  • Class assessment is based on student work and reflects comparable standards across all schools.

REPORTING

Reporting at Glenview:
  • Occurs across the school year.
  • Involves both written reports and face to face meetings.
  • Involves sharing sessions with parents and students using learning logs and student work to stimulate discussion and information sharing.
  • Includes Planned Parent – Teacher sessions – reporting on group activities and learnings.
  • Includes 3 way reporting – engaging parent, teacher and student.
  • Provides written progress reports.

Reporting to parents is designed to inform you of your child’s progress. 

Parent Reporting in June and December.
